A Kids' Boutique In Astoria: A New Beginning for Creators' Co-Op
All of us at Creators’ Co-Op wish you a very Happy New Year and we thank you for your continued support. We want to share with you an exciting new chapter in the life of our little store at the beginning of February.
Creators’ Co-Op will reincarnate as a children’s boutique called babyNOIR as of February 1st. As some of you are aware, I design and create the baby/kid clothing line babyNOIR and babySOLAIRE. After much thought and deliberation, it was only natural that I have decided to pursue my passion for supporting and creating baby and kids items and shift the focus of the store to provide unique and beautiful merchandise especially tailored for little ones. In addition to my collections, there will be additional local, handmade baby/kids items, mixed with carefully chosen toys and home goods that are created by companies that are perhaps bigger than the power of just one designer.
We’ll also be joining forces with The Story Nook, our local children’s bookstore!
Our new cozy beginner-reader book section will give you and your little ones the opportunity to examine the books before deciding to purchase. This will be great for my baby, and all the kids in our neighborhood.
Please come by the store this month before the shift as some of the artists and designers items will be unavailable at the store afterwards. (And some items will be on sale!) We plan on continuing with the arts and crafts classes including knitting and crocheting for adults after the shift, and also plan to add additional classes for kids.
We will temporarily close our store for a brief renovation from January 22nd through 31st, reopening as babyNOIR on February 1st.
